Anixter enters into the cabling management software market with CSM

Anixter Europe introduces Cabling System Manager "CSM" by Physical networks.

Anixter enters into the cabling management software market by signing a commitment with Physical Networks, Paris, for a joint-development of this market, with their product "CSM", Cabling System Manager.

Physical Networks has just introduced a new version of its CSM software, which is now open to the worlds of reporting and Business Intelligence

CSM 2.61.1: a high-performance tool for physical network management

CSM 2.61 SP 1 provides total control of the physical layer of networks in 4 main areas: security, performance, costs and changes in the network. It can be used to rationalize the communication infrastructure, and it also offers help in installing network components.

CSM 2.61.1 is a high-performance, innovative and complete solution. In choosing CSM 2.61.1, administrators of physical networks opt for greater economy, productivity, security and reliability. The extended functions of the new version of the software can help users manage the physical infrastructures of their companies’ communications in real time.

CSM is also now more accessible to developers who wish to graft their own tools onto CSM, and in particular onto the CSM database where all data on the network’s physical infrastructure is stored. The openness of CSM allows companies to develop their own applications to be used on the reference information in the database.
